CRAFT
I love hand-stitching. It has been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally. Up until recently, most of my working life has been happily spent in service to the quilting community working in patchwork shops, sharing knowledge and my creative flare. Even though my life has changed drastically over the years by becoming a mother, my passion for textiles and craft has always remained.
I’m here for the beginner who wants to learn how to stitch by hand. I teach workshops about how to create quilts by hand and how to ‘Stitch Doodle’, focusing on beginners tips and tricks. I offer a range of patterns for my original designs and occasionally, you will find a hand-made original fibre artwork in my online shop.
CARE
I am a postpartum doula who loves supporting parents through the huge transition to parenthood. But, it’s not just parents who deserve support. I also consider myself a grief doula, showing up for people in the depths of the darkness.
After birthing my son in 2018, I realised how little support there is for people ‘moving through something’. I was experiencing postpartum for the first time, while processing the grief of birth trauma. It lead me to realise there isn’t much space or time to sink into the reality of things and feel the vast expanse of my feelings; the joy and the pain…. It was through this experience that I was called to work as a doula where I get to show up in support of newborn parents (or any person moving through a big transitional moment) with tender reverence.
CAPTURE
Taking photos and capturing the moment is a passion of mine.
It’s the the twinkle behind a person’s eye, a shared look between lovers, how the light dances in the space… preserving life’s big (and small) moments matters to me!
I have been taking photos as a hobby since 2012 and recently branched out as a professional photographer capturing people, places and products in Woolgoolga and surrounds
I offer a range of photography packages, aiming to always keep my prices budget friendly appealing to a wider audience so that everyone can have access to professional photos, no matter the occasion or need.
