I am a freelance photographer located along the Coffs Coast, NSW Australia.

I offer a wide range of photography sessions for loved ones, specialising in documenting true, candid moments.

My favourite shooting location is where you love to hang out together but if I am really honest, I love a session at home. These images feel authentic and editorial. A glimpse into the day to day. The unseen!

LET’S TALK FAMILY

Family is a feeling, not a formula. It’s the people who make you feel seen and supported. This is why I say these sessions are for Loved Ones; families, extended families, couples without kids, lovers, friendship groups, housemates, unique structures, one-of-a-kind dynamics, singles full of love. My Loved Ones sessions are for every one, not just the traditional definition of family.

WHY HAVE A SESSION AT HOME?

The beauty of a photography session at home is everyone can be themselves. Without the pressures of a studio or unfamiliar setting, you’re free to relax and let your unique personalities shine.

Your home provides an endless array of props and activities. These ‘special to you’ things and spaces make every session completely personal, super candid and full of genuine fun.

Whether it’s brewing tea in the kitchen, sitting on the front porch, tending to the garden, playing in the cubby, dancing in the living room or showcasing your favourite hobbies; these photos will capture the moments that tell your true story.

They’ll be simple, heartfelt, authentic and editorial. Just perfectly You. Documenting life as it’s lived in your own home creates, memories you’ll treasure forever.

FAQs

  • Once you have reached out HERE, we will confirm date/time and I will send you access to your client dashboard.

    It's through this dashboard I send an invoice for the retainer fee and contract for my services. I also send you a client questionnaire that helps me get to know you and your loved ones before our time together.

    The 50% retainer is to secure your shoot date/time. This retainer fee is due 48 hours from date of invoice.

    The remaining 50% is due once your gallery is finished. Images won't be released until this payment is made.

  • Galleries are delivered digitally, 2-3 weeks after your session.

    If you require a quicker turn around, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.

  • Not really - I'll keep a small eye on the time but sessions times are approximate to accommodate for pauses and breaks to keep everybody comfortable.

    There is often a warming up period for younger kids, so we will take our time to overcome any nerves/big feelings. Things like this are never deducted from your session time.

  • I offer midweek and weekend sessions, and mostly try to work with my clients to find the ideal time.

  • That's okay. Most people are and the good news is; we will do very little posing especially if we have planned an activity... which I highly recommend! Giving everybody something to do not only creates authentic candid moments, but it takes the pressure of having to pose and smile.

    Pick something you love to do all together and you'll all be smiling naturally!

    Examples for an outdoor session: have a picnic, get an ice cream, kick the footy, play beach cricket, walk the headland.

    Examples for a home session: bake a cake, play tag in the backyard, read books on the verandah, put the kettle on and make tea.

    I will ask you to look at the camera and encourage you to stand/sit together but mostly, we will be capturing the real stuff. Those delicious candid moments.

    And it's my job to find those!

    Sometimes I like to give PROMPTS not poses to encourage natural engagement.

    • Give Mum a big kiss!

    • I think dad wants a big cuddle.

    • Look at each other.

    • How about you ride your bike around mum.

    If you have any special games you like to play or personal jokes, we can include those too.

    We will keep things moving along to capture true, authentic moments between you and your loved ones.

  • I'm happy to give you tips on what to wear but no, I do not offer a client wardrobe. I want you to look back at these images and see your and your people. As you are, in your own clothing, feeling as comfortable in your skin as possible!

  • I always keep in touch with clients in the days preceding the session with an update about the weather.

    Anything from cloudy to sunny is perfect for our session but if rain is forecast; we will have to reschedule.

  • Of course. I offer all clients the option to keep their gallery private!

    I understand the importance of privacy, especially when kids are involved and never share images online without parent’s approval.
