I love to create and find inspiration all around me.
Often I use this inspiration to draft up quilt designs with a pencil and graph paper, other times it's expressive embroidery that calls my name to bring my creative ideas to life.
Almost nothing is more exciting to me than rummaging in my fabric stash and cutting into a freshly curated selection of fabric that perfectly captures my vision.

I have been stitching by hand for over 15 years and have made many original quilts.
I have loved many methods of craft but always find my way back to patchwork quilts.
It’s slow and meditative but full of space for creative expression.
All of my quilt designs combine classic and traditional patchwork elements, all expressed in modern colour palettes.

For so long, I have wanted to explore the art form of embroidery and once I tried my hand at what I call ‘Stitch Doodles’, I knew I would never look back.
Stitch Doodles are mixed medium pieces that include raw edge appliqué and embroidery stitches to create a magical dreamscape.
Like a journal, every piece is relevant to a time and place.
